As you can see from our diaper models above there are a couple different styles of dog diapers. We have a full diaper style which is available for females in pink, purple and blue, and the same full diaper style in blue with an extended waist to suit male dogs. We also have a wrap perfect for male dogs available in blue and soon we will also have it in black.
Each diaper is made with an absorbent micro-fiber inner layer and a waterproof and highly flexible outer PUL material.
The other great news about these dog diapers is that they fit dogs of all sizes from the tiny to the largest of breeds.

Washable dog diapers give senior dog owners peace of mind
As you know I am always on the hunt for great products to help older dogs retain their dignity and enjoy life. One of the toughest things to deal with as a dog gets older is that many tend to lose control of their bladder or bowels. In the past many dog owners have taken dog incontinence as an indicator that the dog should be put down, but thankfully times have changed. Dogs have become a much bigger part of families and for many they have become like children. A direct result of this is better care and longer lives for our dogs which is fantastic.
In addition to the shift in how we accept and treat our dogs, products have evolved over the years and really can make a big difference. This is why I started DogQuality.com in the first place, to be able to provide owners of senior dogs with the best selection of products to help with incontinence, mobility etc through dog diapers, dog strollers, dog wheelchairs, dog steps, dog ramps and more. We can make a difference, just look at what can be done for elderly humans – we have these same products for our dogs so why don’t we use them?
This brings me to today’s dog product review which is on a new dog diaper product line we have just introduced. These dog diapers are handmade by a company located right here in Canada and they are beautiful. Just because a dog loses some of their control over bodily functions doesn’t mean they can’t still look great. These stylish, comfortable and practical dog diapers have models suitable for both female and male dogs and the best part is that they are reusable, washable dog diapers which is great.
As a dog gets older incontinence creeps in like it does for us humans. Accidents begin to happen and both the dog and the owners find themselves upset as a result. As much as our floors and carpets may take a beating, I find it is especially hard on the dogs because it is contrary to what they have been trained to do their whole lives. They are used to doing their ‘business’ outside so it can be very upsetting to them when they can’t control their bladder or bowels and make a mess inside the house. Diapers offer dogs a way to retain their dignity and age gracefully. Incontinence can be managed and there are lots of products including the diapers I show in this video that can help to control accidents, keeping dog and owner feeling relieved.
I have to admit, we had a lot of fun doing this video. While we have been selling diapers for some time I hadn’t actually tried them or tested them to see how well they worked…until now.
Watch as I try them out on Mackenzie and then on Paige to see the difference a tail makes. Each disposable diaper has a cute little hole for your dog’s tail which works great for a dog like Mackenzie, but not so great for a French Bulldog like Paige who only has what I call a pretend tail.
We also tested for absorbency and tried to copy an old diaper commercial that used to be on tv which poured water on the diaper and then used blue paper to see how much water was at the surface of the diaper. We were blown away when we discovered that these diapers were bone dry even after I poured a generous amount of water in them. This means that your dog will stay dry and comfortable even after they have urinated.
Typically this type of diaper is used for female dogs and male dogs use what is called a wrap. Mackenzie, who is in touch with his feminine side, volunteered to help show how these diapers work despite the fact that is very much a man. We will take a look at the male wraps in a future video.
